Welcome to NORTHERN LIGHT Radio Show Online! This website contains news and facts related to the NORTHERN LIGHT Radio Show that airs live every Sunday on Clarkson University’s WTSC 91.1 FM – Potsdam, NY – The Source. Our radio show is also available live to listeners online over WTSC’s Internet webcast.
The NLRS was an idea first conceived by Todd and Pat during the Spring 2007 semester at Clarkson University. It has since grown to a large number of rotating DJs and contributors who assist in our weekly broadcast, both on-the-air and behind-the-scenes.
Our mission is simply to provide a comfortable, contemporary setting for teenage and college-age people where they can learn, discuss, and explore what a belief in God can do for them and how believing in God is impacting the lives of others around their age. We try to provide a safe haven where difficult moral and spiritual issues can be asked about and discussed without criticism, and we strive to answer questions our peers may encounter along their own journeys. But, quite frankly, most of our time is spent simply playing the latest and greatest contemporary Christian music.
Meet The Staff
The NORTHERN LIGHT Radio Show has grown to include many contributors, including on-the-air rotating DJs as well as behind-the-scenes folks. NLRS has also received a lot of contributions by volunteer correspondents that report to us from various events.

We always welcome visitors, whether they want to help out with the show or just hang around and watch. If you would like to meet us or help out with a show, please feel free to stop by any Sunday from 2pm to 4pm. We are located on Clarkson University’s campus in the basement of the Hamlin-Powers dorm. Don’t worry, we won’t put you on air or mention you on air unless you want us to. If you want to confirm that we will definitely be doing a show some weekend that you want to visit, feel free to e-mail us ahead of time.
